In late July 2026 CYBERSHOKE added 90 new BHOP maps to its CS2 servers at once. It's one of the biggest pool updates the mode has had — dozens of fresh routes, from simple speed runs to technical maps with long jump chains. The same update brought new maps to SURF as well.
If you just want to jump in, here's the direct path — CYBERSHOKE BHOP servers. Below we cover which maps arrived, what bunny hop actually is, how to learn to bhop in CS2 from scratch, and how to change the map right on the server.
What new BHOP maps were added in CS2
According to the CYBERSHOKE updates page, the BHOP mode got 90 new maps. The update was shared across the movement modes, so SURF received fresh routes too — both pools grew in the same patch.
Among the new maps are bhop_cityscape, bhop_halflife, bhop_climbworld, bhop_linear_dust and bhop_linear_dust2, bhop_aphrodite, bhop_myth, bhop_celestial, bhop_minecraft_village, the bhop_strefing (one–four) series and the bhop_qwerty5–8 set. The range is wide: there are easy speed maps for a first run and technical routes built around strafing and timing.
For scale: when bhop first launched in Counter-Strike 2, there were five maps. The pool now runs into the hundreds, and this single update poured in 90 routes at once.

What is bhop (bunny hop) in CS2 and why it's worth it
Bunny hop (bhop) is movement through a chain of jumps: you build up speed and keep it, without losing momentum between landings. In regular play you set bhop up by hand through the console and binds, but on dedicated bhop servers it's the whole mode — you connect and jump. It's all about clean mouse control, strafes and jump timing; there's no shooting here.
Bhop is useful for two things at once: as its own discipline, racing the clock on each map, and as movement training that carries straight back into normal Counter-Strike 2 — more on that below.
How to learn to bhop in CS2 from scratch
The easiest way to start is on speed maps: straight routes with soft chains, where the job is simply to keep your rhythm on the jumps and turn the mouse smoothly. The update added plenty of easy maps for a first run, so getting into it is friendlier than before.
From there it gets technical: strafe routes (the bhop_strefing series), maps with tight timing and narrow blocks. Progress shows up right away in your completion time, so it's clear where you got faster. If a map really won't click — swap it for an easier one (how to do that is in the next section).
How to change the map on a bhop server
The map is changed by a vote, and any player can start one. The !rtv command (rock the vote) puts a map change to a vote, and !nominate lets you suggest a specific map for the list. These commands work on BHOP as well as SURF and KZ — across all the movement modes.
So if there's a specific map among the 90 new ones you want to try, you don't have to wait for the rotation: nominate it with !nominate, and if the vote goes through, you'll land on it next.
The on-screen display is adjustable with !hud — what to show (speed, timings) and how. A small thing, but it helps you read the pace on an unfamiliar map faster.

A bhop server to warm up and train movement in CS2
Bhop isn't only useful on its own. It's also a warm-up before matches: a few movement maps heat up your hands, strafes and overall mouse control better than idling in a lobby. Plenty of players jump a couple of routes before combat modes just to loosen up and get a feel for the mouse.
On top of that it's pure movement practice: speed control, syncing your jump and turn, working the air — all of it transfers back into the regular game. With 90 maps added to the pool, there are far more options for every skill level.
How to play on CYBERSHOKE bhop servers
- Open the CYBERSHOKE BHOP servers page and pick a server by player count and map.
- Connect and look around — on the first map, just try to hold your rhythm with the jumps, no sharp moves.
- Map didn't click? Type !nominate and !rtv to swap it for one of the new ones.
- Tune !hud to your liking so you see speed and timings on screen.
BHOP on CYBERSHOKE — FAQ
How many BHOP maps are there now?
The exact number changes with updates, but the pool runs into the hundreds. The latest big addition is 90 new maps in late July 2026.
How do you change the map on a bhop server?
Start a vote with !rtv and suggest a specific map with !nominate. The commands work on BHOP, SURF and KZ.
Do you need bhop commands or binds on the server?
On dedicated bhop servers the bunny hop is the mode itself — the console commands and binds from regular play aren't needed here. You connect and jump; the rest is practice.
Is BHOP free to play?
Yes. Premium adds cosmetic extras and conveniences, but it doesn't affect completing maps.
Is bhop good for warming up before matches?
Yes. A couple of movement maps warm up your strafes and mouse control, which is why many players hit bhop right before combat modes.
